imchelsi started out as a witty AIM handle, according to a teenage Chelsi.

Chelsi draws influence from anime/manga, comics, film, and Japanese culture to create her own comics and illustrations. She attributes her decision to pursue art to the 1997 Toonami broadcast of Sailor Moon.

When she is not drawing, Chelsi can be found rock climbing or playing D&D with her friends.
